Job Summary
We are hiring five Data Engineers to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and platforms in Bangalore. You will work with large datasets, ensure data quality, and support analytics and machine learning teams by delivering reliable, well-modeled data.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and optimize ETL pipelines using Python, SQL, and Spark
- Design data models and schemas for analytics and operational use cases
- Deploy and monitor workflows using Airflow or similar orchestration tools
- Ensure data quality through testing, validation, and documentation
- Integrate data from multiple sources including APIs, databases, and streaming platforms
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to deliver clean, usable datasets
- Debug and resolve pipeline failures and performance bottlenecks
- Maintain and improve data infrastructure on cloud platforms
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
- Hands-on experience with Spark for large-scale data processing
- Experience with ETL design, development, and optimization
- Familiarity with Airflow or similar workflow orchestration tools
- Knowledge of data modeling and data warehouse concepts
- Experience with at least one cloud data platform: Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift
- Understanding of data quality frameworks and testing
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Kafka or other streaming data platforms
- Exposure to dbt for data transformation
- Familiarity with ML pipelines and feature engineering
- Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on data engineering experience
- Based in or willing to relocate to Bangalore
