At BrowseJobs, you will work as a frontend engineer building the interfaces users interact with. You will own features from the first technical discussion through delivery. Day to day, that means writing production code in React and TypeScript, creating pages and components, and connecting them to backend services through REST and GraphQL APIs. You will also review pull requests, write tests, and fix issues found by users or QA.
Your typical week also includes reviewing pull requests, writing and running unit tests, and making small fixes based on feedback from users or QA. Requirements will sometimes change as the team learns what works, so you should keep code simple and easy to modify. You will need to communicate clearly with the rest of the team about what you are doing and when you are blocked.
This role is for a candidate with 0 to 4 years of experience. You do not need to set long-term technical strategy. You do need to write clean, working frontend code, take ownership of quality, and be honest about trade-offs and risks. If that sounds like the work you want to do, this role is relevant.

Sit this job's interview. Your score and transcript go to the employer instead of a CV in a pile, and we rebuild your CV against this exact description.
