Job Summary

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our team in Bangalore. You will own the full lifecycle of machine learning projects, from exploratory data analysis and feature engineering to model deployment and monitoring. Day to day, you will write Python and SQL to manipulate large datasets, build predictive models, and present findings to business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Build and deploy machine learning models to solve business problems
Write efficient SQL queries to extract and transform data from warehouses
Perform exploratory data analysis and statistical hypothesis testing
Design and run A/B tests to validate model impact
Engineer features and preprocess data for model training
Collaborate with data engineers to productionize ML pipelines
Present analytical findings and model results to non-technical stakeholders
Monitor model performance and retrain as needed

Required Skills

4+ years of hands-on experience in data science or machine learning roles
Strong proficiency in Python, including pandas, numpy, and scikit-learn
Advanced SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation
Solid foundation in statistics, probability, and experimental design
Experience with A/B testing and causal inference methods
Proven ability to build and deploy ML models in production
Experience with feature engineering and model validation techniques

Preferred Skills

Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
Familiarity with MLflow for experiment tracking and model registry
Exposure to cloud data platforms like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks
Knowledge of LLM evaluation techniques and vector databases

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
4+ years of relevant industry experience
Based in or willing to relocate to Bangalore
