Will AI replace data analysts?

Updated

Nobody here publishes a date when AI replaces analysts. The Data Analytics course still teaches Excel, SQL, Python, statistics and Power BI, because those are the tools analyst descriptions ask for. A model can draft a chart. You still have to explain the number. A job, and the shape of the role, is not guaranteed. The market decides.

What the analyst course still teaches

Excel, SQL, Python, statistics and Power BI. That is the published list. Spark and cloud pipelines are Data Engineering, not this course.

The month-by-month list is the Data Analytics course. Who it suits is the data analytics course.

What we will not claim

We will not say AI has ended analyst hiring, and we will not say your job is safe. Both sentences would be a prediction we have not published.

If the work you can describe is a report you can defend, analytics is the closer course. If it is a pipeline, read Data Engineering instead.

Questions

Asked before you book.

Does BrowseJobs say AI will replace analysts?

No. We do not publish that claim, and we do not publish the opposite claim either.

What should an analyst still be able to do?

Explain a number: where it came from, what it leaves out, and what decision it supports. A drafted chart is not that explanation.

Which course is the analyst course?

Data Analytics. Six months. Excel, SQL, Python, statistics and Power BI.
